The awards you have there are all correct which I would like to include. However, we have 4 more from 2022 as well as potentially a significant amount to come from this year’s competition. The four from this year are listed below:

Another impressive haul of awards this year. Gold awards for our Traditional Pork Sausages and for two new flavours: Chicken with Sage and Red Onion "excellent product, nice flavour" and Mediterranean. The Piri - Piri flavour won Silver. Finally we also entered the Mince Pie Competition and were runners up! |

Complete Meats owner Shaun Vining was invited, along with Hugh Judd of EBLEX to provide a butchery masterclass for students at the Michael Caines Academy in Exeter. The catering students are specially selected to be part of this prestigious academy.Ian Biggar, Lead Tutor emailed to Shaun to say "Just a quick email to say a huge thank you to Hugh and yourself! Once again the depth of knowledge, quality of meat and time given by you two has staggered me and my students. I know Michael was equally impressed and very grateful of your support of Exeter College and the Michael Caines Academy". |

Philip Collins - Complete Meats - Hailed a Success at BPEX event

Young butcher, Philip Collins from Complete Meats pulled out all the stops to impress judges at the South West Regional Roadshow and Butchers Pork Product Excellence Awards, held in Exeter last week. His ‘Devon Pickly Pork Sausage’ was hailed a success by the team of leading industry experts and earned him the title of Champion in the Young Sausage Maker category at the BPEX event. At just 23-years-old, Philip Collins has been working at Complete Meats, Axminster for four years. His brilliant banger uses locally sourced pork mixed with tasty Devonshire pickle to produce a flavoursome speciality sausage.

In 2012 we entered our Honiton branch for the Butchers shop of the year award. We submitted a lengthy application and were delighted to get through to the final stages of the competition. The shop was visited by the judges who scrutinised all aspects of the business. Complete Meats made it to the final four butchers shops in the whole of the South (which included London). Shaun and shop manager Martin went along to the Awards dinner in London but sadly we were pipped to the post. |

Complete Meats were delighted to win the competition to become the official Exeter festival sausage (pork and caramelised onion won the day again!) Owner Shaun helped open the show along side Michelin star chef Michael Caine and TV presenter Kirsty Allsop. |

A photo of the staff outside the shop I think could be a nice touch. Linking into both shops’ socials, how to contact them by phone for a pre order, where to find them, ‘a real taste of the west country’ including a list of the items we stock. Its ‘more than just your local butchers’ with cheeses, cooked meats, bakery, filled hot and cold rolls, pasties, chutneys, jams etc... a nice list of icons to cover off all the things we stock could be tidy.

Third party manufacturing, for pubs, restaurants, schools, business. Wholesale or retail, we source and manufacture high quality products in our EC licensed cutting plant just outside Axminster. (FSA, SALSA, STS, AIMS, RED Tractor, Quality standard). We have been catering suppliers for over 27 years now. Meat specifications to your personalized requirements with an out of hours answerphone line ordering service.
